Alessandro CavagliÀ

Manual Osteopath

Alessandro Cavaglià is a dynamic and dedicated Osteopath. He obtained a bachelor’s degree from ‘ASOMI College of Sciences’ in Malta and is a graduate of the 5 year full-time program at the ‘Academy of Osteopathy ASOMI’ located in Torino, Italy.

He is armed with extensive hands-on experience in manual therapy acquired through a rigorous 1200 hour clinic internship within and outside the academy setting.

After working for two years in Italy as a manual osteopathic practitioner, Alessandro decided to further pursue his passion by moving to Canada to continue his professional journey. He has been practicing in the GTA for the past year and is excited to join the OCR team of manual practitioners.

Alessandro is an active member of OSTCAN and, using a highly developed sense of touch, known as palpation, he detects and treats injury of the muscles, ligaments, fascia, nerves, and joints. His techniques include massage, mobilization, and soft tissue therapy, all designed to support the body’s natural healing processes.

Outside of his professional life, Alessandro is passionate about the mountains. He enjoys skiing, climbing and hiking—activities that help him stay physically fit and maintain balance in his life. Alessandro is fluent in Italian and English.
